L'aspetto significativo è che nel Regno Unito, come altrove, si attribuisce la responsabilità di questo alle aziende, che invece, anche volendo, non possono praticare questa distinzione ;
La legge Britannica obbligherà (dal 2018)le aziende con più di 250 dipendenti a pubblicare i dati sulla "disparità" di retribuzione e le possibili soluzioni;
La cosa più preoccupante, fra le altre, è che, come dice Mike con solo apparente ironia, fra le soluzioni ci potrebbe essere :
1)Aumentare la retribuzione dei settori dove ci sono più donne;
2)Licenziare gli uomini che guadagnano di più e sostituirli con donne ;

Un articolo del New York Post che argomenta, senza, mi pare,particolare disapprovazione malgrado sia scritto da una donna, come la "sisterhood" cioè la "solidarietà femminile" sia quantomeno attenuata, almeno negli USA; fa riferimento alle elezioni presidenziali;ai fini della scelta elettorale avrebbero pesato molto di più le altre situazioni (condizione economica, etnia...etc.)

E' evidente l'incongruenza con la concessione alle donne, in USA come altrove, di svolgere il servizio militare su base volontaria, credo che siano state anche rimosse le restrizioni sulle unità di combattimento;
Non so quale sia la situazione in Italia, se cioè siano mobilitabili solo gli uomini, in forma coercitiva;

Sì, pare essere proprio così, ho trovato questo su internet :
Attualmente nessuna legge prevede il servizio militare obbligatorio per le donne nemmeno in caso di guerra....il personale militare femminile in servizio, invece, é tenuto a esercitare i compiti di difesa sanciti con il giuramento alla Repubblica Italiana.
Sottolineo, inoltre, che il congedo a domanda é subordinato all'accettazione da parte del Ministero della Difesa che, ovviamente, respingerebbe già all'approssimarsi di una crisi (come la chiusura preventiva delle frontiere).
L'intero Libro Ottavo del D.Lgs 66/2010 succitato, ovvero quello relativo al ripristino del servizio militare obbligatorio in caso di guerra o grave crisi internazionale, impone che i comuni siano tenuti all'aggiornamento delle liste di leva a cadenza annuale (in base agli artt.14 e 54 del D.Lgs 267/2000), interessando solo i giovani di sesso maschile che nell'anno compiono 17 anni.
Si tratta di adempimenti, senza obbligo per gli iscritti, propedeutici ad eventuali necessità reali.

Fin qui niente che non si senta già "ad nauseam" , interessante però l'osservazione di Mike che rileva come potrebbe benissimo essere che le società, imprese etc. più forti possano permettersi politiche socialmente oggetto di plauso (l'inserimento di donne, anche nel caso in cui siano meno meritevoli di candidati uomini) senza gravi conseguenze; in pratica, si confonde, come spesso avviene, la causa con l'effetto;

Grazie Paol, finalmente si parla di Questione Maschile. Ottima l'idea di utilizzare le organizzazioni maschili maggiormente in direzione della prevenzione (ossia prima dell'esito giudiziario).

Un altro problema che affligge tantissimi uomini e che viene taciuto praticamente ovunque. Insieme a quello dei figli sconosciuti. Donne che si fanno mettere incinte all'insaputa dei partner dicendo di aver preso la pillola, come se i partner fossero distributori automatici di sperma.

E' un' analisi del femminismo visto come punta di diamante della rivoluzione promossa da quella che chiama "sinistra progressista" o che certi ambienti tradizionalisti cattolici chiamano la "quarta rivoluzione" ; non l'ho letto, quindi mi sono basato sulla presentazione da parte del suo autore;

Purtroppo la cosiddetta sinistra progressista non si è ancora accorta di essere diventata l'utile idiota del capitalismo internazionale. Il femminismo e il mondialismo servono al neoconsumismo per la distruzione di un gruppo di persone, quello occidentale, potenzialmente consapevole (contrariamente agli immigrati che sono per la maggior parte ignoranti). La deriva sociale voluta dal grande capitalismo usa come arma l'apparentemente giusto "politicamente corretto" che partendo da basi condivisibili (non si parla male di un nero solo perché è nero) è diventato il grande tabù contro cui s'infrange il cosiddetto buon senso (ma esisterà davvero?), la logica e ogni tentativo di trovare una soluzione diversa da quella che impongono le élites finto "liberal". Il male è nato da quando la sinistra ha cominciato a confondere due cose in origine diverse come internazionalismo e mondialismo. Il primo in origine designava l'unione di tutte le forze operaie e progressiste del mondo, il secondo è contiguo al caos sociale e alla deriva "liberal" che piace molto ad alcune menti fini anglofone e che ha le basi nella (almeno all'inizio inconsapevole) "new left" nordamericana, un terreno vergine su cui persone interessate e tutt'altro che di sinistra (come i Rockfeller e i Soros) hanno scavato per piantare la mala erba della dissoluzione occidentale, a loro esclusivo uso e consumo.
Questo discorso, ovviamente, vale anche per l'assestamento del movimento femminista (se fossero rimaste solo le fanatiche come la Solanas o la Dworkin, il femminismo sarebbe stato spazzato via nel giro di breve tempo).

Infatti è una conferma di ciò che ho sempre detto: il femminismo in occidente ha contaminato sia la laicità che la religione. L'UK è uno dei paesi più schifosamente femministi e femminilizzati al mondo, per cui è normale che anche le istituzioni religiose che ne fanno parte, seguano la dottrina sociale domininante.

Non dimentichiamo che la chiesa d'Inghilterra ha le donne prete, e quasi mille sacerdoti anglicani sono diventati cattolici per questo solo motivo.
Col nuovo corso revolucionario di Bergoglio il femminismo ha avuto un'impennata anche tra i cattolici, ma ricordo quel che mi ha risposto recentemente un prete ortodosso, alle mie osservazioni sull'apparentemente maggiore immunità della chiesa ortodossa a certe novità: "Per il momento". Aggiunse anche che il motore di questi cambiamenti era l'infiltrazione massonica.

Qui di seguito, segnalato dal blog del J4MB, il link a "The Empathy Gap" di William Collins, un libro decisamente esteso, in inglese, che però è disponibile anche in versione e-book a un prezzo più che accessibile. E' estremamente documentato, anche se è specifico per la realtà Britannica, non mancano considerazioni approfondite sulle ragioni della discriminazione antimaschile, molto ben documentata. E' in ogni caso, a mio modesto avviso, un'iniziativa da sostenere,se possibile.

Salve a tutti: può essere interessante leggere l'articolo di Wikipedia ( che è quello che è, naturalmente) su Mike Buchanan, forse l'unico MRA (mens' rights activist) vivente ad avere una voce su WP. In particolare consiglio la sezione del "Talk" ( accessibile cliccando sulla linguetta in alto, a lato della linguetta "article"), sulla MGM ( mutilazione genitale maschile, circoncisione etc.) .

Ho letto l'abstract.
Mi sono occupato in passato di questi temi per altri motivi e ho rilevato io stesso, pur su un piccolo campione, la reciprocità della violenza domestica. Il genere non c'entra assolutamente niente in certe dinamiche.

Segue il link ad un giornale TV dell'emittente GBN (Great Britain News)
da 1:06 a 1:22 si parla e dibatte di alcune iniziative a tutela delle donne (il commentatore non riporta che queste stesse tutele fossero previste anche per uomini e ragazzi, non so se per approssimazione o perché effettivamente non erano state prese in considerazione ) promesse dalla Truss e da Sunak, ex primo ministro del Regno Unito e primo ministro in carica, rispettivamente (adesso) . Nel dibattito le solite tesi femministe sostenute da una donna (presentata come commentatrice di politica) vengono efficacemente smontate non solo da Mike Buchanan, ma anche dal presentatore e da un'altra partecipante al dibattito (un'autrice). Naturalmente l'emittente non è la BBC, che è persino peggio della RAI etc. E' in Inglese, con possibilità di mettere sottotitoli.

E' recente la notizia che il J4MB, uno dei pochi partiti al mondo focalizzati sulla QM, ha chiesto di essere "derubricato" da partito politico. Non so ancora in che forma sussisterà, probabilmente solo come associazione oltre che come BLOG.
All'inizio della sua esistenza, anni fa, faceva abbastanza notizia, da un po' a questa parte, però, veniva sostanzialmente ignorato se non ostracizzato. Comunque sia, l'interesse nei confronti di un partito MOMAS, nel Regno Unito è molto scarso. Mike aveva, ad un certo punto cercato di lanciare un altro partito, con uno spettro di azione più generale, il "Children & Family Party" , ma poi aveva optato per continuare con il J4MB.
"Mala tempora currunt". Soprattutto nell' anglosfera. Il regno Unito, come ben sappiamo, è il peggio del peggio.
"Sed peiora parantur". Temo.
